Dear players,
Athena has been running for over 24 hours! We are happy to announce that in this whole time, the server has been perfectly stable (just with one minor crash after 21 hours of gameplay) and allowing all of you to enjoy the game to the fullest. We know many of you were concerned that there could be issues, that it would not turn out as we promised.
But we did it.
We would like to thank you for your ongoing support and all your feedback. Your positive responses and comments have brought us great joy and, above all, strengthened our will to continue in our endeavour to provide the best gaming experience possible.
You asked for the numbers, and here they are: Over 8000 characters were created since the launch of Athena, with over 3000 new accounts prepared to enjoy the whole experience. But we don’t need to tell you all that… Let’s hear from the others, from those who were with us and have seen it all, from our streamers, who are even now enjoying the game, as well as from everyone else who wanted to show their support.
To express our sincere thanks to all of you for your support and your interest, and to make your experience (pun intended) in the upcoming days even better than before, we have decided to increase the XP rate to 6× (enable via .mod xp 6) right after all the level 80 Realm Firsts are taken (update: it is already active)! This will be active throughout the next week, until Saturday, November 18th, when the hunt for level 85 begins and the maximum rate will be lowered to 3× again!
